Built by filmmakers,
for filmmakers.
Cinetal exists because we got tired of tracking deadlines in spreadsheets, losing opportunities to bad timing, and spending more hours on logistics than on the work that actually matters. We built the tool we wished we had when we were producing our own films.
What we believe
The film industry runs on relationships, instinct, and craft. No algorithm will replace the producer who knows exactly which financier to call or the programmer who recognises a premiere-ready film. We have no interest in pretending otherwise.
What we do believe is that a lot of the work surrounding those decisions — scanning hundreds of opportunities, cross-referencing eligibility rules, tracking deadlines across time zones — is mechanical work that steals time from the creative and strategic thinking only a human can do. That is the part we want to take off your plate.
How we use AI
Cinetal uses AI to match your project against financing opportunities, flag relevant deadlines, and surface strategic options you might not have found on your own. It does the scanning so you can focus on the judgment calls.
We are deliberate about where AI shows up and where it does not. It will never write your pitch, choose your festival strategy, or make a financing decision for you. Those are human decisions. AI handles the research layer underneath — the part that used to take days and now takes seconds.
Where we are today
Cinetal is a new product. Some features are still rough around the edges, coverage of certain regions and programme types is still growing, and there are things we have not built yet. We would rather be honest about that than pretend the platform is finished.
The upside of being early is that the people using Cinetal right now have a real say in what it becomes. If something is missing, broken, or could work differently — we want to hear it. This is being built in conversation with the producers who use it.
If you are a producer, financier, or sales agent and want to try Cinetal or share feedback, we would genuinely like to hear from you.
