Digital Intermediate (DI) and HD work flow is rapidly evolving for both production and post production. Workflow requires the integration of film technologies with a myriad of new digital technology for acquisition, monitoring and processing. Proper management and control of colorspace, color gamut and human visual perception is a necessity. The eL1000 provides an open architecture color processing system that can calibrate output devices, process color space conversions and manipulate color for purposes of workflow calibration, color gamut mapping and color pre-visualization. Built on Cine-tal's award winning Intelligent Display Server (IDS™) technology, eL 1000 is the solution for open architecture color processing and management in production and post production for digital cinema and HD workflow.
Color Processing
eL 1000 supports an an independent 1D LUT for each input and a single 65x65x65 3D LUT for any of eL 1000's 4-HDSDI inputs, DVI-D input, framestore or test pattern generator. eL 1000 supports 1Dx3 and 3D LUT formats from:

Display Profiling and Calibration
eL 1000 provides display device profiling and dynamic Automatically or manually create display profiles for each output. User calibration adjustments for white point, gamma, RGB gain/bias and x,y CIE exist for up to seventeen points on the gamma curve. Automated profiling supports emmissive and reflective technology through XRite EyeOne Display2, EyeOne Design and the Hubble. Create manual display profiles using any x,y,Y CIE measurement instrument.

Web Appliance
eL 1000 is a network appliance. The user interface for setup and control of eL 1000 is available through any web browser. This provides control of eL 1000 from an existing workstation without the need of another dedicated keyboard or control panel. A dedicated user interface is also available through the use of a standard VGA monitor, keyboard and mouse. |

Split Screen Viewing
eL 1000 provides a split screen function simultaneously displaying any two signal sources. Compare two sources for matching. Compare captured frames from previous sessions to current sources. You can also compare a colorgraded source to an original source. Split horizontal, vertical, reverse sources and control split location. |
